Self-published in March 2019, Anti-Sell: Marketing, Lead Generation & Networking Tips for Freelancers Who Hate Sales has helped thousands of freelancers and would-be freelancers to improve their networking and sales skills in a non-salesy way.
It’s received great feedback (currently 4.5 out of 5 on Amazon UK, from 70+ reviews), and it’s also won multiple book awards (eLit Book Awards 2020; 2020 International Book Awards; 2020 Global Ebook Awards; 2020 Royal Dragonfly Book Awards).

The blog 👨💻
The blog (launched in July 2020) is a continuation of the book.
I used to publish Anti-Sell-related content on my original blog (SEOno), which is primarily an SEO blog, but… it just didn’t feel right. So I decided to create its own dedicated site for it!
The blog contains:
- More networking tips – The book gave a bunch of networking tips and tactics, but why stop there? Here’s some more!
- Posts about freelancing/self-employment life in general – In addition to the sales/marketing/networking side of freelance life, I also talk more about freelancing in general.
- Guest posts – Because who wants to hear me prattle on all the time eh…?! I invite other experts to jump in and contribute their thoughts (find out how to write for us).
- Additional Anti-Sell Stories – Going beyond the eight original Anti-Sell stories that appear in the book, the blog features additional case studies detailing how other freelancers have succeeded by selling in a non-salesy way.
